2019: Acquired by SVB Financial Group and rebranded as SVB Leerink.

2021: SVB Leerink was rebranded as SVB Securities LLC; acquired MoffettNathanson LLC and expanded financial sponsor and leveraged finance expertise.

March 2023: Silicon Valley Bank collapsed; SVB Securities' management planned a buyout.

June 2023: SVB Financial Group agreed to sell SVB Securities in a management buyout backed by Baupost Group.

July 2023: Bankruptcy court approved the buyout; company was renamed Leerink Partners.

2024: Partnered with consulting firm Element22 for a multi-year enterprise data program.
